The Gilchrist Inn is a unique retro condominium style
motel comprised of six residences situated beneath tall
pines in the small historic timber town of Gilchrist.
It was built in the late 40s to support the log mill by
the timber mogul himself, Frank Gilchrist. They were
thoughtfully designed to be quiet and toasty warm with
privacy, lots of storage, and even have a small garage.
We are only one block from the first covered mall in the
West, which boasts a restaurant and lounge that serves
up great food and a whole lot of fun. There are
additional novelty shops, a quilt shop, public library,
video store, a bank, service station; and a grocery
store with deli.
